Fifteen gamblers with thirty thousand seven hundred rupees and three bundles of cards were detained by CPC-2 of RAB-14, Kishoreganj camp.
RAB-14, CPC-2 Company Commander, Deputy Director, Lt. Commander (BN) M Shovon Khan said that in order to curb gambling-related criminal activities in the areas under the responsibility of RAB-14, RAB forces would arrest highly professional persons and bring them under the law. Has been conducting regular campaigns.
Following this, Kishoreganj camp came to know on the basis of secret news that,
Nadhar and Hossainpur of Yashodal union under Sadar police station of Kishoreganj district
some peoples are gambling for money in deeRahimpur area of Shahedal Union under the police station. Later, RAB detectives found the information to be true.
Till 02.10 am, an expedition team of Kishoreganj camp in Nadhar of Yashodal union under Sadar police station of Kishoreganj district and Rahimpur area of Shahedal union under Hossainpur police station conducted separate raids and arrested 15 gamblers along with gambling cash of Rs 30,700 and three bundles of cards.
The arrested accused are - 1. Md. Harun (22), father-Md. Billal, Sang-Jinarail, UP-142. Md. Sujan Mia (29), father-Dulal Mia 3. Md. Shamim Mia (25), father-Chandu Mia 4. Asaduzzaman (30), father-Md. Nurul Haque 5. Md. Al-Amin (24), father-deceased Muktar Hossain 7. Md. Rimon (25), deceased Abdul Mannan 7. Abu Saeed.

The arrested accused were informed in the preliminary interrogation and investigation that they had been gambling for money in the area for a long time. The arrested accused have been sent to Sadar Thana and Hossainpur Thana of Kishoreganj district for further legal action.
